Somehow a simple trip to get the ingredients for baking cookies and making one meal turned into 4 hours of going to our favorite grocery stores (we hadn’t been to Russo’s in sooo long! I love that place)…. oh dear. I’m afraid I’m so tired I don’t even feel like baking anymore. j/k, j/k!

On the menu:

Coconut Shrimp
Spinach pear and Parmesan salad from the latest Good Housekeeping mag
Cat’s Eye cookies with (coughstoreboughtcough) blackberry jam
Alfajores with nutella
Brown Sugar Short Bread with homemade apple jelly
Homemade from scratch pumpkin pie
Cranberry bread (with fresh cranberries om nom nom!)

yeah some of that might get made tomorrow but it’ll all be done before Thanksgiving!

I really can’t believe I decided to work on a Saturday… but at least that means a five...
